Surprise your guests with these frightfully delicious ghost brownies
When it comes to celebrating Halloween, these ghost brownies certainly make an impression with the kids. They are not only cute and make you want to say “boo!” but also so delicious! As a big marshmallow fan, I feel they add a unique twist to any brownies, whether from a box, store-bought or even gluten-free versions. Plus, milk chocolate helps you decorate each ghost face and only adds to the overall deliciousness. I have a great recipe for brownies here if you want to bake them from scratch.

Ghost Brownies recipe
Serves 24
- 1 (18.3 ounce) package brownie mix, plus ingredients to make brownies (depends on the package). If you prefer, bake them from scratch using this easy recipe.
- 24 regular-size marshmallows
- 2 (11 ounce) packages white candy melts
- ½ cup milk chocolate morsels
You will also need:
- Piping bag
- Toothpick
- Bake brownies according to package directions. Cool completely before slicing. Cut into 24 pieces.
- Place one marshmallow on top of each brownie.
- Melt candy melts according to package directions. If candy overheats or is too thick, add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil or vegetable shortening. Pour melted candy into a zip-top freezer bag. Snip one corner and drizzle over marshmallows, allowing the candy to drip down the sides of the brownie. Allow candy to set.
- Melt milk chocolate in the microwave, stirring vigorously every 15 seconds.
- Using a toothpick dipped in the chocolate, decorate each ghost face.
- Allow to set completely before packaging or serving.
