Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups oats
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven at 325°F.
- In a bowl combine flour, baking soda and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla. Beat well.
- Add the flour mixture.
- Now add the oats and chocolate chips. Mix well.
- Use an ice cream scooper to form each cookie on an ungreased baking sheet. Cookies should be one inch apart.
- Bake for 14 minutes or until golden.
- Allow cookies to cool off for 1 minute before transferring to cooling rack.
- Store in airtight container.
