This Instant Pot rainbow Bundt cake has a crunchy surprise: colorful Fruit Loops! It's easier to make than you think. Here's how.Not only is it stunning but it’s easier to make than you think.  Just use a box cake mix to save time and add food coloring with the instructions below and you will have your own gorgeous rainbow cake.

This version also has a special touch for cereal lovers: it’s topped with crushed Fruit Loops! It’s not only crunchy but makes this rainbow Bundt cake totally unique and fun.

How to make Instant Pot Fruit Loops rainbow Bundt cake

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 35 minutes

Additional time: 60 minutes

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 box French vanilla cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • Purple, Blue, Orange, Green, Yellow and Red Gel food coloring
  • ½ C crushed Fruit Loops cereal

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the vanilla cake mix, eggs, water, and oil
  2. Divide the batter between 6 bowls
  3. Mix a few drops of blue gel food coloring into one of the bowls
  4. Mix in a few drops of color into one of each of the remaining bowls
  5. Grease and flour a 7 inch Bundt pan
  6. Scoop drops of each colored batter into the Bundt pan until all batter is used up
  7. Add 1cup water to the inner bowl of the Instant Pot. Place trivet inside.
  8. Make a foil sling and carefully lower filled Bundt pan on top of trivet in the Instant Pot. Loosely fold foil sling over the top of the Bundt pan. Close lid and set to sealing.
  9. Cook on high pressure for 35 minutes
  10. Quick pressure release
  11. Let cool on a cooling rack for 30-60 minutes
  12. Use a knife to gently separate the cake from the sides of the Bundt pan and empty the cake onto a plate
  13. Frost as desired and top with crushed Fruit Loops cereal.
  14. Add more Fruit Loops when serving the cake.
