Delicious Candy Corn Marshmallow Monsters
These candy corn marshmallow monsters are the perfect combination of adorable, sweetness, and Halloween theming.
Aside from being a delicious treat for the kids, they are super easy to make. The only skill you need is to know how to melt the colored candy and then dip the marshmallows. Kids love to see the colors layered once they harden in the fridge.
Candy Corn Marshmallow Monsters
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 6 minutes
Servings: 12
Ingredients:
- 12 Marshmallows
- Orange candy melts
- Yellow candy melts
- Black decorator’s icing
- Toothpick
Instructions:
- Place the orange candy melts into a microwave safe bowl. Heat the candy melts on the defrost setting for a minute at a time, stopping to stir the candy in between.
- Once the candy is smooth and full melted, dip the bottom ⅔ of each marshmallow into the orange candy, and place on a parchment lined tray.
- When the orange candy has hardened on the marshmallows, begin to heat the yellow candy melts in a microwave safe bowl.
- After the yellow candy melts have been completely melted, dip the bottom third of each marshmallow into the yellow candy mixture, and place on the parchment lined tray to set.
- Using a toothpick, place two dots of black decorator’s icing on the front of each marshmallow monster for the eyes.
- Allow the marshmallow monsters to set in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
