Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Recipe

Ingredients: 

  • 8 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven at 325°F.
  • In a bowl combine flour, baking soda and cinnamon.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla. Beat well.
  • Add the flour mixture.
  • Now add the oats and chocolate chips. Mix well.
  • Use an ice cream scooper to form each cookie on an ungreased baking sheet. Cookies should be one inch apart.
  • Bake for 14 minutes or until golden.
  • Allow cookies to cool off for 1 minute before transferring to cooling rack.
  • Store in airtight container.
