What does a fuji apple taste like?

Fuji apples are a large variety of apples that originated in Japan. They have a sweet taste and less tart when compared to other varieties. They are often used for baking because they hold their shape well, but can also be eaten fresh.

Fuji apples are one of my favorite apples because of their sweet taste.  Some people may not enjoy the sweetness of Fuji apples but for me, they just add such a special touch to any dish.

What is Fuji Apple Salad Dressing?

Fuji Apple Salad Dressing is a dressing that is bursting with a sweet apple flavor. This salad dressing is made up of simple ingredients, but it’s so good! Not only is this dressing tasty but it is also so easy to make at home.

Does this taste like Panera Fuji Apple Salad?

Yes! This recipe is a Copycat Panera Bread Fuji Apple salad dressing recipe and it tastes almost identical to the one sold in Panera restaurants. If you love their recipe as much as I do, you will enjoy this homemade version.

Why make Apple salad with Fuji apples?

I love adding Fuji apples to my salads because they add a great sweetness to the salad without having to use a heavy dressing. They are also so crisp and fresh-tasting, which makes them delicious in salads. I especially like red leaf lettuce for this type of salad because it tastes so good when you mix all the ingredients together.

Can I make this ahead?

Yes, you can make this salad ahead of time and it will still taste delicious! However, I strongly recommend not applying the salad dressing until you are ready to eat the salad. Otherwise, your salad may become soggy. Also, if you want to store any leftovers, dressed salad does not hold up well. That is why I always keep the salad without any dressing in the fridge and add it to each portion.

What kind of chicken breasts should I use?

You can use any type of cooked chicken breasts. You can make and cook your own if you prefer or you can purchase some already cooked boneless, skinless chicken breast at the grocery store.

If you are looking for a delicious pre-cooked chicken try the Perdue Short Cuts in the refrigerator section at the grocery store.  They come in a variety of flavors and are so convenient! I just pop one into my microwave for about 45 seconds and it tastes great.

How long can I store this salad dressing?

I like to make the salad dressing about an hour or two before eating. I find that it is actually more flavorful if you let it sit for a while. However, if you need to make the salad ahead of time and store the dressing separately, you can certainly do that too! The dressing can be stored in the fridge for up to one week.
