Transformers 3D The Ride Promises Intense Thrills At Universal Orlando
Transformers fans can’t wait til June 20th, when Universal Orlando’s newest ride will open its doors. Eric Parr, Senior Director for Creative Design for Universal Creative, says Transformers: The Ride – 3D has everything you could ever want in a ride and says “it’s intense.” The attraction will have one of the shortest build times in Universal history, around a year – making it one of Universal’s most ambitious projects ever.
Here’s our interview with Universal Creative’s Eric Parr, who gives an insider’s sneak peak at what to expect from the ride and whether it is recommended for the entire family.
Already a hit at Universal Studios Singapore and Universal Studios Hollywood, Transformers: The Ride – 3D is an action-packed ride experience in which guests come face to face with Megatron. You will dodge explosions and attacks by the Decepticons. The attraction combines the larger-than-life Transformers characters and an exciting storyline with life-like HD CGI media, state-of-the-art 3-D technology and amazing special effects to place riders right in the middle of an epic battle between good and evil.
While catching a preview of Transformers: The Ride – 3D at an event in Miami, Universal Orlando also showed a sneak peak of its newest hotel, Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort, the new, which will have 1800 rooms. It will feature value-priced guest rooms and moderately priced family suites while evoking the classic, retro-feel of iconic beach resorts from the 1950s and 60’s.
