Photos from Hispanicize 2014
Hispanicize 2014, held this year at the Intercontinental Miami, has once again managed to bring together influencers, bloggers, agencies, brands, musicians and filmmakers to celebrate Hispanic culture and technology. As usual it has been a flurry of activity and it’s been amazing to see the community grow so much. With keynotes from Ted Rubin and Ramón de León, to lunches with Cuban blogger Yoani Sánchez and Colombian singer Carlos Vives, plus panels led by experts in their fields and the presence of César Chávez’s family during a screening of the film about his life, Hispanicize proved once more that it is a multimedia event that shouldn’t be missed by anybody who wants to feel the pulse of Latinos in the US.
I had the honor of speaking about my transition from journalist to media entrepreneur during a panel in the morning and afternoon with Gaby Natale, Kathy Cano Murillo, Verónica Villafañe, Manny Ruiz, Teresa Garza, among others. If we didn’t scare everybody away, I hope the session inspired others to bring their dreams of being an entrepreneur to life.
Here are a few photos from #Hispz14, which every year gets bigger and proves that it is much more than a conference.
May Hispanicize keep growing so it can keep supporting our community. It has been so impressive to see it grow and I hope the entire team that produces this event keeps on organizing it. As somebody who has benefitted from it, all I can say is thank you.
