The movie “Heaven is for Real” opens in theaters on Easter Weekend and we sat down with Academy Award® nominee and Emmy® award winning actor Greg Kinnear, who stars as Todd Burpo. Based on the #1 New York Times best-selling book of the same name, Heaven is For Real brings to the screen the true story of a small-town father who must find the courage and conviction to share his son’s extraordinary, life-changing experience with the world.
For Greg Kinnear, the story captured his interest as soon as he heard about it. He said it wasn’t a challenge to play the role of a real person, since he has done that before. Here’s the video with the entire interview.

It’s a good family movie for Easter and will surely capture the interest of Christians. For those who have not yet settled their own questions about faith and religion, it might prove to be a tougher sell, even if Todd and Colton’s story is intriguing.
