You only need four ingredients to make this homemade fudge. If you don’t have Cadbury eggs, you can easily substitute for other mini chocolates. You can even try making fudge with M&M’s!

Ingredients

– 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips – 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk – ¼ cup salted butter – 1 (10 ounce) bag Cadbury mini eggs

Prepare an 8×8 or 9×9 inch casserole dish with parchment paper spritzed with nonstick cooking spray. Place half of the mini eggs into the bottom of the casserole dish.

Place chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter into a microwave safe bowl.

Heat, uncovered, in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir vigorously, allowing the residual heat to help melt the chocolate. If needed, return the chocolate to the microwave and stir every 15 seconds until the chocolate has melted. Do not overheat the chocolate.

Pour the fudge over the mini eggs, pressing it down into an even layer between the eggs. Press remaining eggs into the top of the fudge.

For best results, bring to room temperature before cutting or use a knife heated with warm water and wiped dry to slice. Cut into squares.
