– 4 medium ripe peaches, peeled and cut into chunks – 1/2 cup water – 3 tablespoons sugar – 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Step 1.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the water, sugar and lemon juice. Cook while stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Step 2.

Carefully pour the liquid into the blender. Place the peaches in the blender over the liquid. Cover the blender and process until the peaches are completely smooth.

Step 3.

Allow the mixture to cool completely. Transfer the peach mixture to the bowl of an electric ice cream maker. Make the sorbet according to the manufacturer's directions.

Step 4.

If you don’t have an ice cream machine, pour the mix onto a parchment lined cookie sheet and freeze until set. Break it up and blend in the food processor or blender until smooth. Freeze and blend again for an ultra smooth consistency.
