How to get Katy Perry’s glamorous Grammys makeup
Katy Perry chose a blush Valentino gown fresh from the runway to walk the red carpet for the 2014 Grammy awards, but it was her gorgeous hair and makeup that really stood out. Here’s how her makeup artist Jake Bailey did her glamorous Grammys look.
“Katy had a very clear idea of what she wanted for The Grammys this year. She wanted sexy eyes, elegant lashes and she wanted to GLOW!” said Bailey. Here’s how he helped her achieve that vision:
- First mix Covergirl BB Cream and truBLEND Foundation
- Then apply truMAGIC Sunkisser and Luminizer on her face.
- To bring out Katy’s eyes, Jake Bailey used Bombshell Shine Shadow in Gold Goddess and Flamed Out Shadow in Blazing White on her eyes.
- On her lips, he applied Covergirl Heavenly 269.
Katy’s updo was created by Renato Campora, which he let loose for her performance of “Dark Horse”, and then redid so she could watch the show in another Valentino dress. She later changed into an Armani gown for the after parties.
